There are dozens of different styles from uber-trendy skinny jeans to straight leg to wide leg jeans. There was not a single review that reported the dreaded gap at the waist when wearing these denim jeans. As a matter of fact, you may find that you can sit down comfortably without fear of your butt being exposed to the masses!

PZI Jeans are available in sizes 4-18. Every style is fitted with stretch from 2% spandex. Stretch jeans made with spandex allows for a slim, comfortable, and sexy fit. You can easily bend and walk through your day in comfort, no matter what you're doing. If you're also concerned about the length of the jeans, don't be. PZI jeans come in 4 different inseam lengths from 31," 34," 36," and even the extra long length of 38". No matter whether you usually shop for clothing in petite, average, tall, or extra tall sizes, you can find a pair of jeans that are the perfect length. If you're accustomed to having to tailor your jeans, this amounts to additional savings in the long run.

There are many pros to buying a pair of PZI jeans, but there are also cons to note. The first is a report that the color of the jeans may appear a shade or two deeper than pictured on the website. This minor issue might not be a problem in comparison to finally being able to purchase a pair of jeans that fit - no alterations necessary. Of course, if you buy PZI jeans from your local department store, you will avoid this issue, but then again, you may miss out on deals solely available online. These jeans are very reasonably priced from $69 and up, but you can also find free shipping deals and coupons codes online for additional discounts.

History of Blue Jeans in America

Many people are aware of the roots that blue jeans have in America. They are a symbol of everything America is supposed to be: free from the status quo. It is nearly impossible to distinguish social and economic status of any individual wearing a pair of them. They are the invention of Jacob Davis, but were made famous by the entrepreneur Loeb Strauss who later changed his name to Levi. On May 7th, 1873 the patent for them was received from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Jacob Davis had invented the riveted pockets of the blue jeans at the pocket's stress points for a customer of his pants. The customer would constantly bother Davis over the holes that developed in his pockets. It was this that gave Jacob the inspiration for the riveted pockets. He did not have the $68 at that time to file a patent, however, and wrote to Strauss offering to file it jointly with him in exchange for Strauss paying the patent filing fee.

For the next 25 years while Levi Strauss & Co held the patent rights to blue jeans, they became immensely popular among the working class. They were known for their rugged durability. Right after the exclusive patent rights expired and the invention became public domain, many companies started manufacturing blue jeans. Because in the 19th century they were worn by the working class, they were a symbol of the working man. The wealthier, pampered members of society did not wear blue jeans during this era.

During World War II, blue jeans gained the popularity overseas that they had garnished many years before in America. Foreigners admired the pants worn by American soldiers. The end result was that they were no longer solely American. Europeans and other foreigners could now enjoy the benefits of the rugged denim. Shortly after World War II with jeans now internationally recognized as a durable, comfortable pair of pants, sales skyrocketed.

Jeans were a symbol of rebels during much of the mid-20th century, up until the 1980s. Rebel figures like James Dean in movies wore blue jeans almost exclusively while the older more conservative generation did not. Blue jeans continued their tradition as a symbol of revolution into the 60s and 70s as they were the pants of choice among hippies. Jeans would become more main-stream again in the 1980s.

The 1980s were when designers started creating and labeling their own jeans. It was during this time period that jeans were a symbol of high fashion. Sales for jeans skyrocketed during this decade. They were more accepted at this point than they ever had been. Blue jeans lost popularity in the decade following the 80s as children scoffed at wearing clothing their parents wore. While blue jeans were still worn among kids, they had to be different from the traditional straight down blue denim their parents grew up in. As a result, many jeans manufacturers either had to retool their designs to keep up with the times or face possible bankruptcy.

Blue jeans continue to be worn today and still cloak the status of the wearer. Their ruggedness and durability appeal to both the poor and rich alike. Currently jeans are making a fashion comeback and the traditional jeans manufacturers have fragmented as a result of the past two decades filling various niches. Whatever path blue jeans may take, their roots are entrenched in American soil.

Red Carpet Style: Leather Clothing for Women

Everyone knows that it is not the person who is walking down the red carpet that is important, but rather their clothing! If you can't be a star, do the next best thing and dress like one. One hot trend in Hollywood and all over the world is leather clothing for women. Before you run out and purchase a pair of leather chaps or bulky biker jacket, think again. Leather clothing can run the gamut from smoking and sexy to sweet and subtle. Furthermore, leather clothing is available in all shades and hues of delicious colors, express yourself with juicy greens and pinks that are hot, hot, hot these days. Leather clothing can take you from the board room to the night club, what other type of material can boast the same thing?

Without a doubt, every woman's closet should have a pair of smoking hot leather pants. Take advantage of the current skinny pants trend and invest in a great pair made of leather. Since leather acts as a second skin, it will hug all your curves and show off your best assets. Just look at how great your favorite stars look in their leather pants? Sharon Stone, Cameron Diaz, and Jessica Alba regularly hit the red carpet with colorful leather pants topped with flowing tunics or gauzy tops. This pairing is especially great for the summer time scene, as the lightweight materials of the tops create an ethereal look that softens the smoldering look of your leather pants. Think of it as a little bit angel and a whole lot devil!

Especially with the cowboy theme that is sweeping Hollywood, leather tops and jackets that feature miles of fringe and Native American beading are back in style. Again, avoid fashion overload with a fringed top, jacket, purse, boots, and skirt. Go classic cowgirl in a sweet leather jacket and denim skirt or play the vixen on the range in a barely there fringe top and painted on jeans. Get your ready to rope, ride, and steal hearts! Keep in mind that there is a difference between cool and kitsch, so if you start looking like a movie extra on "Brokeback Mountain 2," you may need to reconsider your wardrobe.

Just like there are fashion hits with celebrities, the red carpet has seen its fair share of fashion misses. Who can forget Britney Spear's "biker chic gone bad" outfit that she donned for the MTV Music Video Awards? Major leather overload! Take this into account when assembling your killer leather outfit. Avoid head to toe leather. One exception to this rule is a leather suit, which is quickly making its way back on the scene. Layer your suiting look with a top of another material and keep the color of your suit subtle. Nothing looks worse than a larger than life leather lime walking down the street! Look to colors like eggplant, teal, and even white if you are tired of the typical black and brown leather.

If you are still wondering about whether or not you dare to don leather, consider purchasing leather accessories first. A leather version of the popular Newsboy style of hat is perfect for a saucy addition to any wardrobe. Just look at songstress sensation Alicia Keys! Of course, who could go without a killer leather bag? Fashion-minded celebs like Jessica Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, and of course the celebutante herself, Paris Hilton are seldom seem without a leather bag in their hand. Keep in mind that leather can easily make the jump between day and night, so invest a bit more in a quality bag that will be appropriate for any occasion.

Fine Leather Clothing

Leather is made using the skin of an animal. Just as our skin is very durable, fine leather clothing is built to last as well. The hide of the animal leather comes from, which is typically a cow, is treated and preserved, making it a material that will work well as clothing. Many benefits come with purchasing fine leather clothing. A few of them are mentioned in this article.

One of biggest advantages of purchasing leather clothing over other materials is that is lasts a long time. This means that you investment will be much more worth it when you purchase leather that you want to last, such as in a leather jacket. It is known that a good leather coat may cost you $200-$400, but it will be able to be worn for at least 10 years if proper care is taken. This will make it easier on you and your wallet in the long run.

Leather can be worn for many months of the year, unlike a lot of other clothing trends. There are lightweight jackets available for periods when the seasons are changing. You may get a little chilled when fall is approaching, or as the winter is slowing turning to spring. There are also heavier coats made of leather that will keep you warm throughout the coldest days of the year. Being able to wear fine leather clothing so much makes it a sound investment.

Most leather clothing is resistant to different factors that could destroy other types of jackets and clothing. For instance, most makers of fine leather clothing treat their leather to be water resistant. This is great if you are caught in a downpour, which is why many bikers choose leather over the other options. Many leather pieces are also resistant to fire. This would be good if you worked around flames or were caught in an automobile accident that set your vehicle on fire.

Many people find it beneficial to own leather because of its versatility. Leather jackets can be combined with a number of styles to create different effects. For instance, you may choose to wear the jacket with a turtleneck and khakis for a professional look. Those going out with friends may add leather to a nice top and jeans. Since it can be worn with so many different outfits, leather clothing is a good addition to any wardrobe.

Though leather jackets are the most common way to wear the material, there is other types of fine leather clothing should not be overlooked. Bikers, rock stars, and other people wear leather pants. Most would think these bottoms are uncomfortable, but they are actually easy to wear if the right type of leather is purchased. There are also leather skirts, bikinis, bras, and shirts made for women. Men may choose to add a leather vest to their wardrobe, as it is seen as a very masculine article of clothing.

Fall Leather Clothing Tips

The "-ber" months have just started, and with the cooler weather already beginning to set in preparation for the upcoming winter, this fall season comes replete with new clothing trends for the fashion-conscious.

The main trend: Leather Clothing. Of course, never would this timeless staple go out of style in any season as evidenced by the leather boots, leather pants, leather gloves, and leather jackets that have peppered the latest in almost every fashion magazine, blog, and TV shots worldwide. This trend is and always will be considered a staple in the chic wardrobe department.

However, for this fall season of 2010, leather will reach new heights by being used on almost any sort of clothing. Yes, leather can now be worn to work.

The trick to being able to manage such a feat is to make sure that the outfit looks modest and refined enough to be respectable-looking for work and yet it must also achieve balance through a right ounce of sexy and tough to achieve that type of sophistication that only leather can bring to a work outfit.

Donning a sleek black leather trench coat over a fitting little white mini- dress (it would look better if it were knitted-like a body-hugging little white sweater mini- dress with a turtleneck) and sheer black tights or stockings with a pair of neutral-colored boots (in shades of caramel, gray or beige) could do the trick; if not boots then red or black stilettos would also do real well for the work outfit.

The leather coat must be tailored well because the aim for this look is the sleek, classy and sophisticated stream-lined style that can give that aura of polished-sexy-tough that can be carried perfectly to the workplace.

Small black leather gloves could also provide that hint of sexy toughness to a long-sleeved contoured dress (which would look good in sleek neutral colors like camel, beige, white or gray).

And yes, leather can be worn in an all-black ensemble without having to look too much like a goth queen. The trick to being able to pull of this look without looking like some trashy or all-out rock chick or vampire is in the layering and play of textures.

As of this season, sheer, velvet, lace, and lingerie-inspired clothing can provide feminine textures to the tough touch of leather.

A black silk or satin slip with a printed neckline (in striking but sleek colors such as silver-white or white-gold), black shorts, thigh-length sheer black stockings (absolutely no runs and grungy rips or whatnot), black leather jacket with the sleeves folded up to the forearms, and black brogues, or pointed/narrow-edged edged flats or ankle-length boots would look cute and chic enough for a night out. It would look cuter if the flats or boots had an interesting texture like fur or feathery or a design done in black crystal or some other more neutral color in a more subdued finish (to avoid upstaging the neckline).

To top this look off, an elegant purse bag in a sleek and striking color that would look good with the neckline and shoes would give the overall look that chic-yet-cute-yet-classy finish. This is the sort of look that can go from evening casual to a party night-out.

A soft lace dress in pastel color can also be complemented with a leather jacket or boots and give that interesting play of irony between sweet-innocent-and-sexy-tough.

The possibilities that can be achieved with leather is endless. Whatever style you try to incorporate it with, leather will always stay as a chic and sophisticated staple for every season.

Leather Clothing - A Brief History

Leather has been going on for a very long time and has permanently been used to make sophisticated garments. Now and again, such outfits were known to create a stir but at times, such apparel invited condemnation as well. Madonna was viewed sporting kinky leather boots and George Michael flaunted leather jackets in their respective music videos. Stars and their interest for leather gear is positively old news now; and they have often influenced many juvenile teens to go their way.

Cowboys and leather have for ever and a day had a long connection, and cowgirls in leather chaps formed quite a rage way back then! Leather-clothing items such as jackets and gloves were coupled with the sexy biker look! This was the time when Marlon Brando shaped a revolution and men on the streets tried to emulate him in every promising way! Although leather jackets were worn as a safety against windblast and a variety of situations that affected riders, these eventually developed into a fashion statement and were often obtained only to be 'in' with the crowd. Of course, one also desired an equally sexy motorcycle to achieve the look! Well, fashion comes with its massive price tags and this is the price most likely one pays to follow the latest tastes! Leather jackets were as a result seen as a mark of being macho and therefore, attractive to members of the opposite gender!

In a number of cases, the application of leather was even extended to pants and accessories as well. Leather pants were then considered to be hot and ladies were also instant to go by this development. Black leather pants with belts that had whopping shiny buckles became a fashion statement especially with the youth.

These days, one can see loads of fresh styles that are structured as per the styles sported by superstars in the recent years. Madonna's leather bomber jacket are usually looked at in the numerous imitations that have flooded the market. Leather lingerie is also catching up big time due to the particular look and the kind of feel it gives. Leather clothing is therefore favored, due to the everlasting and glamorous look it presents!

Leather clothing may be fashionable due to the glamorous and versatile looks it provides, but is it really essential in our wardrobe? Countless inquiries have been raised by animal rights activists about the exploit of leather for clothing and other products. Several groups disturbed with the rights of animals reject the use of leather and encourage the use of synthetic leather.
